

- Instructions for motor speech disorders profiles
- Create a profile for each motor speech disorder that we cover in the course (7 dysarthrias, adult apraxia, childhood apraxia)
- You should prepare most of the entry for each disorder in advance of the class on that disorder
- The profile should include the information on this format sheet
- Here's an example of a partially completed profile sheet
- You will also create a differential diagnosis sheet to compare the disorders
- Some students have created notebooks include copies of useful articles, neurology diagrams, etc. for each disorder to use in the clinic
- Instructions for oral mechanism exam
- Bring penlight to class on August 27
- Watch video on speech exam in class
- Practice speech exam on another student during class
- Practice speech exam (obtain form here) on a person outside of our class
- Turn in completed form at the beginning of class on September 10
- Instructions for motor speech article review
- To be turned in at the beginning of class on September 17
- Instructions for acoustic analysis assignment
- To be turned in at the beginning of class on October 1

- Motor speech take home exam due by Friday, Nov.2, 9:00 a.m. in my box.

- To be turned in at the beginning of class on November 12
- Instructions for stuttering acoustic analysis assignment
- To be turned in at the beginning of class on November 19
- Stuttering Severity Instrument exercise
- To be turned in at the beginning of class on November 26
- Stuttering treatment plan due December 3
- Fluency take-home exam due in my box by 9:00 a.m. on Monday, December 10.
