POLS 341: Theories of International Conflict and Cooperation

For May 1: Iklé pp. 59-161

For May 3: Troubetzkoy ch. 17

Essay 2 (due May 3): Write a short essay of at least seven paragraphs in which you (1) identify and correctly summarize three things you learned as a result of this class, (2) argue why each of the three things you learned as a result of this class were important to your understanding of theories of conflict and cooperation, and (3) suggest one improvement for the class with a justification of how that suggestion would make the class better. Please email this essay to me, preferrably as a PDF.

The final research paper is due on Tuesday, May 8! Extensions will only be given for special circumstances. You may email your paper as a PDF, but be sure either to include your international interaction game worksheet in the PDF or turn in a hard-copy of your marked up international interaction game worksheet.
