Before and after school child care is available to Zuni students by Children's Choice Child Care Services. Children's Choice provides a wide range of activities for children to choose, including learning tables, arts and crafts, sports, cooking and board games. On Wednesday afternoons, which provide a longer period of time due to the shortened school day, children will often go on field trips or have special programs brought to them. Children's Choice normal hours (with occasional exceptions such as snow days) are before school from 7 am to 9 am, and after school until 6 pm, Monday through Friday. They provide child care, either at Zuni Elementary School or another elementary school, on non-holiday weekdays when Zuni is not in session (e.g. in-service days, summer session).
