2012.91.26, stoneware jar; Han dynasty (206 B.C.–A.D.220)
Eason Eige Collection; photo by B. Bernard.
The jar shown above appears to be unglazed. It may have been lightly glazed
when it was
new—but if so, all traces of the glaze have disappeared over the
centuries. It measures 11 inches (28 cm) tall. To see additional
