What is
HSAC?
HSAC is a student government

administration of the University Honors Program (UHP). HSAC also
advises and suggests ideas for the University Honors Program, as well
as represents the UHP at various university-wide events, the University
Honors Council, and the Associated Students of UNM (ASUNM).
What does HSAC do?
The Honors Student Advisory Council
coordinates many programs and activities within the University Honors
Program, such as:
The honors faculty introduce the various courses they
will be instructing and students are given the opportunity to register
in advance.
Students who have studied abroad are invited to come and
share their experiences, photos, etc. The Connexiones, Australia
biological tour, and many other programs are presented. This even is
open to everyone and students are treated to an array of international
food.
HSAC works in conjunction with the University Honors
Program to invite a variety of speakers to give dynamic presentations
on topics related to ancient and modern legacies.
This event is held for students to come and share their
poetry, music, comedy, and special talents in an informal atmosphere.
