China Then as a Key to China Now: Archaeology and History

It's not our goal to provide a comprehensive history of China as part of the exhibit. Instead, we hope to provide a bit of context for the ceramics in the online gallery. The exception is the section titled "The Chinese Diaspora and New Mexico," which you'll find if you keep scrolling down. There is surprisingly little published information on the Chinese connection to New Mexico, so we will share what we know about that subject.
