For years, the New Chinatown's distinctive architecture stood out
on East Central Avenue (old U.S. 66) in Albuquerque.
Mr. Kim Ong provided the museum with the following family photos, and
we're glad to share them here.

The entrance to the New Chinatown restaurant. The decorative tiles
flanking the entrance are the same ones used as the ceramic motif for
Mr. Ong's story.
A Chinese dragon greeted diners in the restaurant lobby.

decorative tiles can be seen on the divider behind them.
