  • Outreach at Smart Lighting week at the Albuquerque Institute of Math & Science (AIMS) summer engineering camp for middle school students on Monday, July 22, 2013 from 09:00 am - 11:30 am.

  • Workshop and hands-on learning stations on optics and photonics related projects including Li-fi technology, impact of LED in lighting system in terms of energy savings and cost effectiveness, LED art project, and LED throwee with over 140 students of different grades on “Electrical Engineering & Green Energy Day” of “Discover STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Week” at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. This STEM education workshop/demo was an exciting opportunity for students to explore optical science and engineering problem solving skills, next generation science standards as well as opportunities for future careers.

  • Hands-on activities with public on visible light communication, LED art project, and LED throwee on "Discover STEM Day" at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This STEM education workshop/demo was an exciting opportunity for students to explore optical science and engineering problem solving skills, next generation science standards as well as opportunities for future careers.
