The New Mexico Historical Review is always interested in finding new, qualified book reviewers in areas such as history, anthropology, art history, paleography, political science and other liberal arts disciplines. Although we do not accept unsolicited book reviews we do encourage you to contact us if you are interested in reviewing books for NMHR. If interested you may either call us at (505) 277-5839, E-mail us at nmhr@unm.edu, or snail mail may be sent to: Book Review Editor The following criteria apply to all submitted book reviews: Number of words: 450–500. Reviews should be doublespaced for ease of editing. Reviews that exceed the word limit will be shortened by the editing team. Please begin your review with the bibliographic heading exactly as it appears in our cover letter. Double-space all copy in Times New Roman font and print on a laser quality printer.Keep quotations to a minimum and check for accuracy. Follow the quotation with the page number(s) in parentheses: e.g., “…” (p. 33). Type your name and institutional affiliation, or city and state of residence, at the end of your review.
