Research Interests

Our research focuses on how microbial activities can be harnessed to improve environmental quality. We are particularly interested in microbial diversity and the application of molecular tools and mathematical modeling to gain a better understanding of environmental processes important to wastewater treatment and to bioremediation of contaminated soils.
