  Objectives: Students will:
  • Demonstrate advanced skills with Explorer and FireFox
  • Describe the impact on search results of using the advanced search features in Google
  • Find and evaluate websites according to the Ida B. AWARE evaluation form criteria


  A.  Internet Browsers - Browser Jigsaw / The Jigsaw Classroom
    Group 1:  Demonstrate how to add, rename and delete a favorite / bookmark.
    Group 2:  Demonstrate how to organize favorites / bookmarks by rearranging them or putting them into folders.
    Group 3:  Describe what an Internet history is before demonstrating how to find it, and how to delete it in both Explorer and Mozilla.
    Group 4:  Describe what cookies and temp files are before demonstrating how to delete them in both Explorer and Mozilla.


  B.  Sorting Through the Internet
